Supplemental Language-Based Programs

In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum that is provided in reading and language arts, all students are supported with supplemental instruction that is individually aligned with students' goals.  Some of the many programs include:

Winston's "Blue Book" Reading Program; for dyslexic students which trains children to decode using a visual sound/symbol association technique based on an Orton-Gillingham methodology

Read Naturally Program; for oral fluency

Reading A-Z and Raz-Kids Programs; for guided reading leveled practice in decoding and comprehension

Word Warm-Ups Program; for decoding and encoding skill practice

Mega Words Program; for multi-syllabic word development and skill practice

Take Aim! Program; for vocabulary development and skill practice

Winston's Love of Language Program - "LOL"; for comprehension and skill application
