Welcome to the Winston School’s “Summer On The Hill - 2018”, part of our Winston Center for Learning.  

Enroll your child in one – or more – of our camps where we approach learning in a creative and fun way. The Winston School of Short Hills has been fostering the potential and optimism in students with language-based learning challenges for 35 years. And, the Summer Camps are great for siblings, as well!

Week of June 11-14: Mini Camps - Art Camp, Sports Camp, Language Literacy
Week of June 18-21: Mini Camps - Art Camp, Sports Camp, Language Literacy
Week of June 25-28: Academic Camp, Executive Functioning, Creative Tech, Sports Camp
Week of July 2-5: NO CAMP
Week of July 9-12: Academic Camp, Executive Functioning, Creative Tech, "Wild Card" Add On
Week of July 16-19: Academic Camp, LEAPS, Music Camp

Week of July 23-26: Academic Camp, LEAPS, Theatre Camp





All sessions are Monday through Thursday

Special program designed for students entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade
with specific needs in Math & Reading

The Winston Summer Art Camp is designed to expose students to various artists, art movements and art making techniques. 
June 11-14 & June 18-21
Time: 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Cost: $300/week
Mr. David Stevens, instructor
The Winston Summer Sports Camp is designed for students of all skill levels. The materials can be guided for beginners or students with more experience. There is no pressure to excel at any one sport. Sports include; Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Football as well as non physical skills such as sportsmanship and teamwork.
June 11-14  & June 18-21 
Time:  12:30 pm - 2:30 pm
Cost: $250/week
Come for the full day 9:30 am-2:30 pm.  (Full day price with Art and Sports combined: $480/week)
Full day campers bring a bag lunch.
Language Literacy Boot Camp For Emergent Readers
(K-4 and/or by request)  Small group sessions will run approximately one hour, scheduled by Ms. Antonietta Toth, Winston’s Reading Specialist.
Cost for Winston students: $100 - in addition to Art/Sports Camp
Cost for non-Winston students: $125 - in addition to Art/Sports Camp
Cost for those not attending Art/Sports Camp:  $150



Academic Enrichment Camp is Monday through Thursday 9:30-12:30.  Afternoon add-ons are separate.

The Winston School Summer Camp is an opportunity to catch up, brush up, and get ready for next September.  Students learn and review in a fun and relaxed environment.  Academic enrichment or review in the following:  Math; Reading; Language Arts; Science; and, more, based on students needs (to be assessed).  Other Enrichment classes offered, such as Music, Art, Theatre, and more, all taught by Winston School teachers.
