Lego Fun!
Children will engage in the creative process of building lego designs!

Learn the strategies and develop the highly focused mind-set required for the game of Chess!

Junk Art (Grades 4-8)
Let your imagination run wild.  Students will turn discarded items into 3-D art!  Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose is our theme.  Supplies will be provided, but students are encouraged to collect additional "junk" materials from outside sources.

Dance Fusion (Grades 4-8)
Dance Fusion will create an environment that encourages self-esteem and understanding. Through the art of hip hop, African Dance, Modern Dance, and Ballet, students will learn to express themselves.  Each class will build a newfound Confidence and Character for every individual student.

Encouraging the youth to aspire to personal excellence through participation in Track. Through activity in sports, they can learn and develop commitment and dedication skills, which can transfer over to other aspects of their lives.

Creative Writing (Grades 5-8)
Free the characters in your head and share your story, whether is is fiction, fantasy, poetry, or beyond - the craft of writing!  All ability levels of writing are accepted and encouraged.

Fun Film/Video Class (Grades 5-8) (CLOSED)
Learn to express your artistic & dramatic vision through videos! Discover the wonderful world of Videography, using various digital tools and, most importantly, your vivid imaginations! Brainstorm and collaborate on a student-made short film, shot entirely on campus, with the completed project viewable on the Winston website.

Homework Center
The Winston School after school homework center is staffed by Winston teachers who offer guidance for homework completion.  Homework center begins promptly at 3:05 PM and ends at 4:05 or 4:35. A snack is provided.  In addition, private one-on-one tutoring is available upon request.  Homework center is held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.  There is no homework center on Fridays.  Please sign up in the main office.  There is no on-line registration for Homework Center.
