Rajan Wins @ Brown

There is something special about a Winston graduate, and Lena Rajan Class of 2010 just proved again why that is true. The Morristown-Beard School (MBS) senior recently competed in Brown Universities’ Hack@Brown competition the weekend of January 24 and 25. Not only is it remarkable a senior in high school would take on this college-level challenge, Rajan and her partner in “hacking,” Graham Dyer of Summit, walked away with one of 9 coveted prizes for their web app.

Winston Yearbook Deadline Extended
The Winston School is extending the yearbook purchase deadline to midnight on May 5, 2014. The yearbook is $21.99 and once purchased you have the option to personalize 2 free pages with photos and memories of your student. Personalizing your student's book with photos and memories is optional, but if you decide to customize your pages they must also be complete by midnight on May 5, 2014.

Kindness Counts
In recognition of 1500 Kindness Counts deeds, the students were treated to Red Mango frozen yogurt with various toppings. Way to go students!

Celebrate Spring with Flowers and Planting Vegatables
The Winston Parent's Association Spring Plant Sale is back! All orders are due by April 11, 2014

Hoops for Heart Tradition Continues
Through this national program students have fun, learn how to stay healthy and make a difference in the lives of others! Donation packets are due April 11th.

Winston School Variety Show

8th Grade Visits Food Pantry
The 8th Grade class visited the Food Pantry on Wednesday, March 19th. We would like to thank all the families who contributed apples. Thank you for your support.

Dr. Lewis Takes the Stage
He will be Don Jose, the Tenor role in the Opera Carmen at the Brook Theater in Bound Brook, NJ. He will be performing with his wife, Karole as his Carmen.
